25 / 27 January 2024 – The Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Gabon Jean-Hugues de Pradel de Lamaze was present in Rome during the three days of this event which took place at the Magistral Villa, on the Aventine Hill, in the presence of the 81st Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta, Fra John T. DUNLAP.

More than a hundred ambassadors were present, making it possible to discuss the different particularities of the Order’s diplomatic missions around the world and to compare experiences. It was an opportunity for the Grand Magistry to establish a general overview of the geopolitical and humanitarian situation, to present the main guidelines in terms of ethics, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence, and to specify the directives in matters of protocol, communication and security.

At the end of the conference, all the ambassadors had the honor of being received in a private audience by the Holy Father, His Holiness Pope Francis.
