On the occasion of his visit to Gabon, H.E. Ambassador Jean-Hugues de Pradel de Lamaze hosted, on 28 May 2025, a reception at the Beach Club in Libreville.

This event was notably marked by the presence of several government representatives, including H.E. the Minister of National Defense, numerous Ambassadors (Algeria, Germany, Brazil, South Korea, Cuba, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, São Tomé, European Union), representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as civil and religious personalities.

During his address to the guests, H.E. Ambassador Jean-Hugues de Pradel de Lamaze reviewed the history of the Order’s activities in Gabon and announced the forthcoming establishment of a foundation aimed at supporting the development of its activities in favor of the most disadvantaged.

Finally, the occasion also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the departure of Mr. Bruno Lardit, Counselor at the Embassy since 2019, who is now being replaced in his duties by Maître Nicolas Chevrinais.
