In partnership with Our Lady of the Apostles’ dispensary in PK8, the Embassy team and the Apostolic Nunciature supported a day of free medical consultations organized by the Cuban Embassy to the Gabonese Republic.

Located in one of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods of Libreville, the Notre Dame des Apôtres dispensary was renovated and equipped in 2022 and now has equipment for ultrasounds, hematological analyses, and a delivery room. On December 14, 2024, the Congregation of the Sisters and Daughters of Saint Joseph of Génoni, with the support of the Embassy, ​​joined forces with the Cuban medical cooperation organization for this day dedicated to medical care for the most disadvantaged. More than 120 free consultations were carried out with the help of 17 volunteer health professionals and the assistance of the Embassy’s diplomatic staff as well as the Cuban Ambassador to the Gabonese Republic, HE Alex Gonzàlez Garcia.
