After the Ogooué Ivindo province, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Gabon Jean-Hugues de Pradel de Lamaze visited Lambaréné, an opportunity for him and the diplomatic team from Libreville to make a first visit to the facilities of the Albert Schweitzer Foundation Hospital and to discuss with its director, Doctor Justin OMVA.

During their meeting, a statement of the current needs of the structure was drawn up and certain courses of action were mentioned by Doctor Claude Bachelard, Ordre de Malte France, for possible support of the Hospital by the Order. This meeting was followed by a visit to the museum dedicated to the former hospital, steeped in history, and to the work of its famous founder, Professor Albert Schweitzer.
